Position Summary The Communications Manager will oversee both reactive and proactive communications related to building safety within the Asset Management department. The role involves managing interactions with leaseholders, MPs, government departments, managing agents, local authorities, fire services, and other stakeholders. The goal is to ensure clear, concise, and timely communications, especially related to compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022. Key Responsibilities Managing Building Safety Communications: Organise and respond to all incoming/outgoing communication related to building safety. This includes managing a dedicated inbox and a tracker for inbound communications. Managing communications throughout remediation phase: Work across multiple stakeholders to ensure clear messaging to leaseholders and tenants before and during remediation phases on buildings subject to Building safety related projects. Proactive and Reactive Communication: Lead in communicating with stakeholders (leaseholders, government bodies) both reactively (responding to inquiries) and proactively (updating stakeholders at regular milestones). Simplifying Reports: Review technical reports and summarise any building defects for inclusion in Landlord Certificates. Strategic Discussions: Attend regular calls with clients to review communication strategies and propose improvements. Key stakeholders Internal: Key executives and departments External: Client, Leaseholders, MPs, government agencies, local authorities, fire services.
