Role: Business Development Manager Salary: Up to £60,000 basic salary + OTE of £90,000-£100,000

The company is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand its client base in the commercial solar energy sector. As they continue to establish themselves as a key player in the renewable energy market, they require a dynamic professional to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and manage the sales process from initial contact to closing. The BDM will be expected to conduct market research, develop and implement strategic sales plans, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met efficiently and effectively, contributing to the company's overall growth and success.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial solar market.
Coordinate with internal teams, including design, engineering, and project management, to ensure client requirements are met.
Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM software.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute campaigns that generate leads and raise brand awareness.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote company services.
Stay updated on government policies, incentives, and regulations related to solar energy to advise clients accurately.
Monitor and analyse sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed targets.
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager
Demonstratable experience within the Commercial PV space
Familiarity with solar energy solutions, commercial-scale solar projects, industry trends, and regulatory frameworks
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to manage client data and track sales
