My client is looking for a diligent Pest Controller to join their team, responsible for identifying and resolving pest-related issues in commercial properties.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, health, and comfort of our clients by employing integrated pest management techniques and adhering to industry regulations.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct thorough inspections to determine the presence of pests and the extent of infestations.
2. Develop and implement effective pest control strategies tailored to the specific needs of the client and the environment.
3. Utilize a variety of tools and techniques, including traps, baits, and chemical treatments, to eliminate pests while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
4. Educate clients on preventative measures and best practices for pest management.
5. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment plans and follow-up visits.
6. Stay current with industry trends, pest control technologies, and regulatory requirements.
You don't need to have experience to apply for this role as you will get FULL training, but the below is essential:
1. You must enjoy driving. This is important as the areas on this route are: Notts, Derby, Liverpool, South Yorkshire, Bradford, Worksop, Lancashire, Chesterfield.
2. Good track driving experience (No driving points).
3. Problem solver - This job is working in pest control, so it's all about problem solving and preventing any future pest problems; a can-do attitude is essential.
4. Confident - You need to be confident with Rats, Mice, vermin, cockroaches, Squirrels, Wasps, etc.
5. Lone working - You will be a part of a lovely team, but day to day you will be working alone, so you need to be organised, have good knowledge of roads, and know how to prioritise workloads.
6. Customer service is key to be able to speak to customers, reassure them, and stick to the appointment times that have been made.
