SUEZ Recycling and Recovery UK is looking for an Investment Manager to join our dynamic team.
You will be working in the experienced Corporate Development Finance team, which focuses on developing new investment projects, M&A and disposals, SPV investment management, contract variations and corporate finance initiatives.
About the Role
Location: Maidenhead (with flexible working from home)
Salary: in the region of £75,000 (including car allowance) plus bonus up to 20% and generous benefits.

What you will be doing?
16. Engage in bid pricing and investment appraisals.
17. Develop financial models for major investment projects, M&A and disposals.
18. Operational modelling for SPV investments, together with monitoring and reporting of investment performance to the banks and shareholders.
19. Collaborate with technical teams to assess costs, KPIs, risks, and sensitivities.
20. Participate in contract negotiations and provide financial support to bid teams and directors.
21. Review financial and operational models.
22. Draft and negotiate payment mechanisms and contract positions.
23. Engage in due diligence for major investments M&A, and disposals.
24. Communicate with senior management and the board.
25. Update business plans and forecasts.
26. Liaise with internal teams, external advisors, banks, auditors and lawyers.
27. Support other finance and operational teams.
What are the requirements?
28. Degree in business, accounting, economics, engineering, or a related field.
29. Qualified accountant or similar financial qualification.
30. Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
31. Commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers, contracting structures and risks.
32. Good time management and ability to deliver within tight deadlines.
33. Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn and improve.
34. Minimum three years of experience in financial and/or operational modelling.
35. Advanced Excel knowledge.
36. General knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and UK taxation.
37. Knowledge of tender processes and bid preparation preferred.
