Shortlisting Date: 14th May 2025 Interview Date: 21st May 2025 Interview Type: In person Your Role Working in partnership with the young person's Social Worker, the Intensive Support Worker offers direct work interventions to young people and their families whom are at risk of family breakdown. The workers are responsible for establishing, maintaining and developing professional relationships with young people through targeted and tailored interventions. We seek to ensure, when safe to do so, these young people remain in their home. Young people tell us they need consistent and timely support where they are actively listened too, and are part of the decision-making process. In this role you will be an integral part of ensuring we actively promote young people's engagement in how they wish to be supported. In this important and varied role, the worker will need to be creative and adopt a persistent and consistent approach to engaging our most vulnerable young people and their families. You will provide tailored holistic support to young people who may be at risk of Child Sexual Exploitation, Criminal Exploitation, Missing and NEET with multiple and complex needs, on the edge of care. Day to day you will deliver targeted interventions, assess needs, and deliver young people's focused plans of support. You will work with our partners across various settings, home, school, education providers and community. About You You will be a confident and creative thinker who is experience with direct work with young people and families. You will have good knowledge around safeguarding policy and practice with excellent self-organisation skills. You will hold a full driving licence and relevant qualification to level 3 or above About Us We have a strong team ethos with a number of establish intensive support workers, two senior practitioner and a team leader. We offer regular supervision on personal development and cases, peer supervision, team meetings and training for all. We also have specialist workers within our team consisting of a Speech and Language therapist and a Clinical Psychologist who offer training, support and consultation.
