Support children’s academic and social development, promoting positive behaviour and well-being. Assess and monitor children’s progress and provide feedback to parents and carers. Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with special educational needs and higher achievers. Work collaboratively with other staff members, including teaching assistants, to create a supportive learning environment. Contribute to the wider school community, including school events, activities, and extracurricular opportunities. We are looking for someone who: Holds a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree. Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1, particularly in Year 1 (preferred but not essential). Has a strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and the ability to make learning exciting and accessible. Demonstrates excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Is enthusiastic, creative, and committed to providing the best possible educational experience for all pupils.
