I am currently working with an amazing Multi Academy Trust who are looking for a Finance Officer (term-time only) to join their team on a temporary basis... there is a chance that the role will be permanent! You'd be working in a small, close-knit team and supporting the finances of multiple primary schools.
Your key areas of focus will be:
* Purchase Ledger - this includes inputting purchase orders, creating purchase orders, checking and posting invoices, processing invoices, liaising with colleagues and external suppliers.
* Income/Sales Ledger - ensuring sales invoices are raised, allocating payments, preparing receipts and issuing statements.
* Cashbook and Journals - journal posting, cash book receipts and payments, and processing petty cash payments.
* Financial Administration - monitoring queries, general financial administration and communication.
For this role you will need to be someone who has worked in a busy finance office and has experience of working in a similar finance role.
