As the Finance Analyst you will be responsible for extracting and analysing complex data to deliver to business and finance stakeholders insightful reporting including the provision of the monthly financial reporting package to provide valuable analysis and insight to accurately report financial performance. Responsibilities will include: Support the business through the provision of effective, timely management information including assisting the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis with the on-time delivery of the monthly board pack. Lead on the preparation and improve the monthly reports for the shareholder, to include future focused, value adding and action orientated insight and commentary. Provide new financial analysis requested from the senior management team and shareholders and drive continual improvement in the data analysis. Lead the development of the financial reporting in Power BI and IBM Planning Analytics TM1. Promote best practice within Finance team in respect of data, systems and processes. In addition, you will demonstrate these key competencies: Experience in monthly reporting, annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting. Experience in modelling and analysing large volumes of data and interpretation of financial information using tools such as Power BI. Experience with multi-dimensional reporting and planning tools such as IBM Planning Analytics TM1. Ability to investigate at a granular level to ensure understanding of the drivers of the business.
