Role Responsibility: Business Development Manager £65,000 to £75,000 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Hybrid Working with travel to our site in Wath upon Dearne, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, S63 7ER (1 to 2 days per week) About Us Our G4S Customer Contact Centre in Wath Upon Dearne provides advice and support to the public on behalf of our clients. We have experienced rapid growth and are now a team of over 2000 people who spend their day helping people. About the Role As Business Development Manager, you will implement an effective sales programme and approach that expands on our current client base, strengthens potential new client relationships and actively seeks out other business and supplier opportunities that can drive revenue and margin. A key responsibility of this role will be to generate and develop new business opportunities through a comprehensive sales cycle. This will include utilising a broad network of industry contacts, introducing and closing new business opportunities. Your aim will be to build a BPO sales pipeline which will utilise G4S BPO capability in the Public Sector and look to diversify into horizontal markets, such as the Private sector. This will include but not limited to activities, such as Customer Service, Casework, Complaint Handling, Quality Assurance and back-office based functions. You will partner with multiple internal departments to drive measurable growth results that benefit our business and will work closely with Service Delivery, Support & Enablement, Governance, Client and Bid Management functions. Other Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive annual new revenue growth targets, achieve and improve bottom line growth. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential clients of all sizes in the BPO market. Build and maintain relationships with key client decision-makers through consistent networking. Manage the entire sales cycle, starting from lead generation and demand generation. Ensure that Statement of Works (SOW) expectations are competitive in the market. Report on sales cycle performance and provide insights for course correction that are in sync with market trends. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities for existing clients and create tailored solutions to meet their evolving need. Have a strong network of contacts within the BPO industry to provide market intelligence and insights. Work in partnership with the Client Partnership team to target new BPO opportunities with existing clients through the upselling of services. The Ideal Candidate: Essential Criteria: Experience in Sales or Business Development in the BPO industry UK/Offshore. Excellent reputation and networking contacts. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Ability to sell end to end solutions including outsourced Contact Centre solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Adept with Microsoft and Google packages. Confident negotiator and ability to ‘close the deal’. A high level of knowledge of Contact Centre technology, customer contact strategies and market proposition. Proven track record of using sales tools such as Sales Navigator, Salesforce & CRM software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel as needed.
