Duties Included (But not limited to):
1. Assist in the provision of care and work as part of a team to achieve required standards.
2. Ensure residents retain their dignity and individuality.
3. Be involved in the general activities of the Home/Unit.
4. Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting residents with personal care and all other aspects of daily living.
5. Assist residents with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting.
6. Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of residents.
7. Assist residents who need help during meal times, helping with serving of food, drinks as requested/required and wash up as requested/required.
8. Observe, monitor and record residents' physical and emotional well-being and report any changes to senior staff.
9. Encourage residents to participate in social and recreational activities.
10. Promote safe working practice and ensure the good reputation of the Home.
