Clark Wood, accountancy practice recruitment specialists, are currently working with a highly progressive independent firm of chartered accountants in Harleston, Norfolk who are looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced Accounts Senior or Accounts Technician.
As an Accounts Senior, you will undertake a varied role that includes the preparation of year-end accounts and the associated tax computations for a diverse range of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships. You will also oversee bookkeeping work for clients and the preparation and submission of periodic VAT returns.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4+ years experience in practice and may be AAT Qualified, ACA / ACCA Qualified or Qualified by Experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
2. Preparation of complex personal and corporate tax computations and returns
3. Overseeing bookkeeping work for clients
4. Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
5. Liaising with clients to resolve queries as necessary
6. Supporting and assisting junior members of staff
Skills:
1. ACA / ACCA Qualified (or Part Qualified), AAT Qualified or QBE
