£27,852.00- £30,151.00 (pro-rata) Permanent -Part time 20 hours a week – Tuesday to Friday Hybrid working Job Ref: P2230 About the role We are looking for a highly motivated and forward-thinking person to join the Customer Delivery Team supporting our Revenues Services. You will be joining a fast moving, busy department who is responsible for collection of Council and Non-Domestic Rates. Our primary aim to resolve enquiries at first point of contact meeting the legislative requirements, identifying support needs and signposting to relevant agencies. We are looking for someone who is comfortable supporting residents with a wide variety of enquiries showing empathy and a good understanding of the council tax service. The successful applicant will be expected to deliver a professional, customer focused approach ensuring we support residents to reduce arrears whilst maximising collection. You will be expected to deal with a wide range of contacts through face to face, phone, email and written ensuring records are maintained in detail. About you To be successful in this role you will have experience working directly within a Council tax environment liaising with Customers, Landlords, Agencies and have a good understanding of Council Tax Legislation and Policy. You may be required to attend Magistrates court to support with Liability hearings and assist customers which can fall outside core working hours.
