In this role you will be the backbone of our logistics operations, ensuring the seamless movement of goods across international borders. This dynamic role requires a proactive approach and keen attention to detail to ensure compliance with import and export regulations while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Main duties and responsibilities:
1. Manage logistics processes across air, sea, and road shipments for imports and exports, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
2. Prepare and organise all necessary import/export documentation, including customs declarations and licences.
3. Stay informed and ensure compliance with international trade laws, keeping abreast of changes in regulations.
4. Collaborate with international offices and partners to monitor shipments, ensuring timely updates to customers.
5. Verify compliance of incoming and outgoing goods with quality standards, addressing discrepancies promptly.
6. Maintain communication with suppliers to track and manage shipments, addressing customer inquiries and concerns effectively.
7. Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency in logistics operations.
About you:
You possess a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain processes, with excellent communication and customer service skills. You are proactive, results-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organisational and time management abilities. Your ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team is complemented by your keen attention to detail and robust problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of international trade laws and customs procedures are advantageous. Qualifications in logistics or a relevant field and experience in shipping/logistics are preferred.
