What the school offers its staff
Charford First School is located in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. It is a larger than average three form entry school, with an extensive Early Years provision. It takes children from the age of 2 years up to 9 years.
On average, there are over 500 children on roll.
The school catchment is very socio-economically diverse and is also a very inclusive school that has a strong, positive reputation within the local community.
A strength of the school is the strong relationships staff build with the children and their families and the high expectations they encourage the children to have of themselves.
The school has a strong commitment to the wellbeing of its staff and children, which promotes a positive ethos and embodies our school motto of “where everyone is someone.”
There is a highly effective and knowledgeable governing body that is actively involved and deeply invested in the school. The Senior Leadership Team is strong, with a wide range of expertise and, as well as the Headteacher, is made up of a Deputy Headteacher, three Assistant Headteachers and a SENDCo. The senior leadership team are also supported by the year group leaders (Years 1 to 4) who make up the leadership team.
