The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing guidance and academic support to 6th Form students. As part of this role, you will; To support the teaching and learning process under the guidance and direction of the Head of 6th Form. Develop a range of strategies to engage individuals and groups of students, often with differing requirements. Liaise between student and careers department to arrange appointments. The successful candidate will have; GCSE Grade C or above in English (Literacy) and Maths (Numeracy) or numeracy and literacy skills equivalent to NVQ Level 2. Training in relevant learning and SEN strategies. Ability to use ICT effectively to support learning. Ability to be self-motivated with a desire to improve own practice/knowledge through self-evaluation and working with others.
