We are seeking a talented individual to join our Facultative team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in Norwich. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least one to two days a week in London.
As an experienced Broker Support Lead / Account Manager for the US Property team, you will play a key role in leading an Account Management team to support our brokers and manage client relationships.
This role will report to the Operations Director.
We will count on you to :
Lead the US Property Account Management team, driving quality and excellence in our delivery to clients, markets and colleagues.
Work closely with the Head of US Property and with the Operations Director to meet divisional targets.
Support the Brokers by coordinating placement activities delivering proactive, valued support as required, including :
Manage Client requests for information (reinsurer, financial reports, industry issues, etc.)
Liaise with Reinsurers in response to queries or requests, in conjunction with Brokers.
Manage the contract drafting process, updates, and production of final contract documentation.
Manage and co-ordinate with the end-to-end service teams (including invoicing, claims and credit control) within Guy Carpenter UK and globally to ensure the client receives a best-in-class service.
Lead the operational management of the US Property team to ensure quality and efficiency goals are met.
Manage and deliver the operational training for the US Property team.
Manage and maintain the financial pipeline and operational data and reporting for US Property.
Proven experience in a Senior Account Handler / Broker Support role.
Excellent technical experience and contract drafting capabilities.
Strong organisational and analytical skills.
Computer literate with the ability to learn new applications quickly.
Proficiency in computer applications with the ability to learn new software quickly.
A client-focused and quality-driven approach.
Experience in leading, managing, coaching, and mentoring junior team members.
