Teaching Assistant Mentor Location: Wirral We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant Mentor with a strong understanding of behaviour management to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs and behavioural challenges. Key Responsibilities: Implementing behaviour management strategies effectively. Providing one-on-one and small group support to students. Assisting in the planning and delivery of lessons under the guidance of the teaching staff. Supporting the social and emotional development of students(SEMH) Maintaining accurate records of student progress and behaviour. Requirements: Experience working in an Alternative Provision or similar setting preferred. Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Team Teach Restraint Training Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo this process). Desirable Qualifications: Additional training in behaviour management or SEN support. Experience working with students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs. Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures. Why Join Us?
