DAYSHIFT (Monday-Thursday, 40 hours, 07:30-18:30)
Are you passionate about precision engineering and meticulous inspection? Do you have an eye for detail that can spot the slightest deviation? We're seeking a skilled Metallic Inspector to join our high-performance Formula 1 manufacturing team!
THE ROLE
As a Metallic Inspector, you'll ensure the highest quality standards for Formula 1 vehicle components through comprehensive metrology and analysis. You'll work primarily with metallic machined parts, verifying conformance to exact specifications that can make the difference between victory and defeat on the track.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Apply your manufacturing knowledge to expertly inspect metallic components
* Utilize advanced metrology tools including CMMs, Absolute/Romer arms, shadowgraphs, surface testers and contour tracing machines
* Ensure timely inspection and processing to maintain production schedules
* Communicate critical findings to designers, manufacturers and team members
* Drive continuous improvement through effective organization and procedural excellence
* Provide flexible support for composite quality control when needed
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
* Possesses a recognized apprenticeship or relevant inspection experience
* Demonstrates strong GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) understanding
* Has experience with Polyworks software – this is extremely beneficial!
* Shows confidence in drawing meaningful conclusions about part quality
* Maintains meticulous and accurate documentation
* Works efficiently with minimal supervision
* Adapts quickly to changing priorities
