Vacancy – Finance Administrator
With over 17 years industry experience in an established, reputable business, we are looking for an experienced individual, who wishes to join our dedicated team.
This role is for a Finance Administrator with a full structured development plan in place offering career progression.
Our experienced team will guide you through your training & development. This would be the perfect opportunity for someone who will take ownership of their tasks and deliver within agreed timescales.
Financial Management:
• Managing the sales and purchase ledgers.
• Credit control and following up on outstanding payments.
• Regularly perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the company’s financial system.
• Completing VAT returns and other financial documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports
• Assist in preparing payroll by ensuring employee timesheets are accurate and up to date, and process employee expense claims.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, including setting up new supplier accounts, processing invoices, and ensuring timely payments.
Essential Experience:
• Proven experience with Sage 50 accounts.
• Payroll experience (preferred)
• Experience in completing VAT returns.
• Preparation of monthly reports.

• Proactive Attitude - Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative in managing administrative and financial tasks and reporting.
• Good IT knowledge - Comfortable with using software tools beyond Sage 50, Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Adaptability: Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities or urgent tasks as they arise.
• Integrity: High ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
• Time Management: Strong ability to manage time effectively, particularly when juggling multiple responsibilities.
• Continuous Learner: A willingness to learn and adapt to new systems, procedures, or software to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the role.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse financial data and provide insights or suggestions for improvements to financial processes.

• Competitive salary £27k - £32k depending on experience
• 37.5 Hours per week (hours are negotiable)
