We’re looking for a Communications and Marketing Coordinator to join our Careers Service on a maternity cover contract.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing engaging content across both digital and print platforms. We are looking for someone with experience of developing and delivering a range of communications and marketing campaigns, with a focus on creating high quality content across social platforms, email marketing, websites and print.
The goal of this role is to increase engagement with our offering and raise awareness of our Careers Service. Our audience includes students, graduates, employers, and will support key stakeholders across the service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and create engaging and informative content across digital and printed channels.
2. Oversee and manage our Instagram channel (@uomcareers), ensuring content is strategic, relevant and impactful.
3. Create and distribute monthly careers newsletters, tailoring messaging to different groups of students.
4. Support the design and production of printed materials – using Adobe / Canva Pro.
5. Provide day-to-day management of assigned colleagues and contribute to team development.
6. Work across multiple marketing initiatives in the service, offering guidance to staff members on how they can market their offering more effectively.
