About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Finance Coordinator to join our team. This part-time role is crucial in ensuring the effective financial management of the organisation. The Finance Coordinator will provide day-to-day financial and management accounting services, prepare budgets and reports, streamline and improve financial processes, and handle administrative finance functions.

We are looking for medical or Health and Social Care professionals to join our nationwide network of Huntington’s Disease Specialists who provide care management, specialist assessment, and emotional support to individuals and families across Scotland. Working in partnership with local Health and Social Care teams, you will also provide advice, training, and education to professionals and voluntary agencies involved in all aspects of Huntington’s disease care.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated to have a positive influence on the quality of life of the individuals and families they support. This role is open to medical and health and social care staff from backgrounds such as nursing, allied health, social work, and medicine. Professional body membership is essential. Previous experience of Huntington’s disease is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
You should be able to work autonomously in this challenging and rewarding position. Good listening, communication, and interpersonal skills are vital, as are excellent time keeping and caseload management abilities. Community-based practice knowledge, a driving licence, and use of a car complete our list of essential criteria. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced disclosure check.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Scottish Huntington’s Association Youth Service as a Specialist Youth Advisor providing support for vulnerable children and families throughout Highland, Grampian, and Moray through bespoke, individual sessions. If you are someone with dedication, talent, and expertise, we want to hear from you.
The Specialist Youth Advisor role is pivotal and will provide a vital link in supporting young people in this region in line with the strategic aims of Scottish Huntington’s Association.
You will be responsible for your own caseload and will help plan and co-ordinate group work sessions, activity days, residentials, and our summer camp.
Highly organised with a proven ability to build trusting relationships, you will help to empower children and young people to manage the complexities of living with Huntington’s disease and their own genetic risk. Experience of child and adolescent mental health difficulties, young carers’ issues, and child protection is advantageous.
Previous experience or knowledge of Huntington’s disease is preferred but not required as full training and ongoing mentorship will be provided.
This post will include out-of-hours and periodic weekend working. Hybrid/Remote: Based in Highland region (preferably near Inverness, with travel).
