As the Office/Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our daily operations run smoothly, efficiently, and at the highest standards. Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor Subcontractors & Agencies: Ensure services are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
2. Be the Go-To Person: Act as a main point of contact for staff during shifts, providing guidance and support.
3. Oversee Pricing & Invoicing: Ensure all jobs are properly priced, completed, and invoiced on time.
4. Customer Care: Take care of phone calls and handle customer requests professionally.
5. Administrative Excellence: Keep our office running smoothly with strong organisational skills.
6. Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring the highest level of service.
7. Streamline Processes: Implement organisational systems that make work easier for everyone.
8. Compliance: Ensure all activities meet UK security standards and regulations.
To Excel in This Role, You’ll Need:
1. Organisational Excellence: You’ll need to keep track of schedules, resources, and all the day-to-day tasks that keep the office running smoothly.
2. Outstanding Communication: You’ll be the bridge between directors, clients, suppliers, and the team. Clear and professional communication is a must!
3. Problem-Solving Skills: The plumbing and heating industry can be unpredictable, and your ability to solve problems will keep operations on track.
4. Tech-Savvy: You should be comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and be quick to learn new tools and systems.
Your Qualifications:
* At least 12 months of experience in a similar office or operations role.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and phone etiquette.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with ease.
