Who are we? We are part of the Stores Compliance team, born in 2018. We started our journey with a team of 15 individuals which has now grown to 400+ team members in 6 regions. As the De-risking Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal risks associated with one or more program level components, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This is a unique opportunity to manage a product and program setup that has a multi-billion-dollar impact for Amazon. The candidate should have strong communication skills to work closely with stakeholders across multiple stores and functions. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced landscape. This is a high visibility role across WW Director and VP groups at Amazon.
In this role you will:
1. Work with Pan EU account management teams to drive vendor outreach and de-risking goals.
2. Initiate, define, plan, and manage the roll-out of the program features and enhancements based on the legislative changes in the Sustainability space.
3. Own weekly and monthly reporting on the state of the initiatives you own. Utilize metrics to deep-dive into issues and uncover business-driving trends and patterns.
4. Manage engagement with multiple stakeholders in the US, India, and EU including Tax, Legal, Operations, Tech, Retail, WW Social Responsibility, and RBS.
5. Define the product vision and strategy.
6. Identify opportunities, create business cases, and champion your vision to build organizational alignment around priorities, features, and capabilities required to scale your product.
7. Own the end-to-end launch of features from requirements to release.
8. Work closely with engineering, go-to-market, operations, and other product teams to define and improve your product and customer experience.
9. Define, prioritize, and plan the resources needed for successful product delivery.
10. Communicate product releases, impact, and timelines to leaders and stakeholders.
11. Roll-out online sustainability trainings to internal employees (incl. success tracking) and help drive adoption of educational content for Vendors.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments.
* Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
* Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Knowledge of procurement and source to pay processes and solutions or equivalent experience.
* Experience identifying trends and needs to improve an already closed large-scale technology deal.
* Experience in B2B or enterprise sales with a focus on hunting new business.
