Discover the role
We are looking for a Head Sommelier to join our team. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of Michael Caines offering a healthy and exciting menu in our brand new poolside restaurant overlooking the estuary.
What You Will Be Doing
1. Take full responsibility for the circa 600 bin wine list
2. Help to achieve restaurant profitability through revenue generation and effective cost control
3. Excellent knowledge of world wines, spirits and cocktails
4. Working with the Operations Director to create and maintain a well-balanced wine list both price-wise and representationally
5. Work with and learn from the extraordinary culinary and front of house talent in a diverse, energizing, and professional restaurant environment

3. Ideally possess intermediate WSET or equivalent Sommelier qualifications

Can I get to Lympstone Manor via public transport?
1. You can take the coastal train from Exeter St. Davids or Exeter Central train stations, take the Exmouth train and exit at Lympstone village. It is a 15 minute walk to Lympstone Manor from the train station.
