We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to undertake and promote the effective assessment of Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC), including those in Age Assessment/Dispute. This role encompasses care planning, intervention, and review for UASC cases, including children in need of being looked after and/or protection. This includes circumstances where it is necessary for the local authority to initiate legal proceedings to safeguard children and to further consider their immigration status.
You will bring experience of managing a caseload of varying complexity and problems, along with competing demands. You will have knowledge of legislation and case law in relation to UASC/age assessments and its application.

1. Must have Enhanced DBS (Child and Adult)

4. Social Work England (SWE) Registration
5. Right to Work
Location: Cardiff
Hours per week: 37 (Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm)
