Requirement: QHSE Advisor Location: Cheshire (Hybrid working) Package: Up to £60,000 (D.O.E) car allowance 12.5% pension Our client who are winning new projects and increasing spend on current are looking for a QHSE Advisor to join the team. Responsible for Quality, Health, and Environmental related topics with a strong focus on creation and further development, improvement of key business processes and implementation of the required CDM site controls across the National Gas portfolio of projects. QHSE Advisor Duties and Responsibilities Drive the Safety Culture across the National Gas project policies as well as looking at development area. Attend meetings as required to support from QHSE perspective. Review internal and external (Sub-Contractor) RAMS to ensure correctness and accuracy. Production of Safety Moments on a weekly/monthly basis to support safety packs. Monitoring of 3rd Party activities such as Local Authority, Traffic Management and Licencing throughout the project. Working with managers and colleagues to ensure CDM Principal Contractor and Principal Designer compliance, resolving issues and ensuring non-conformances are detected early. Manage Training Requirements and Maintain Training Matrix and Coordinate Competency Assessment and records. Manage incident reporting such Near Misses/Accidents etc. Travelling to all our sites to coordinate and carryout above activities as required. Contribute to the project registers, reviewing and adding relevant SHE sections where required. Develop CDM Risk Register Develop Construction Phase Plan Core skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
