Onsite Recruitment Consultant/ Account Manager

Smart Environmental Support Solutions are excited to be recruiting for an Onsite Recruitment Manager to work with our client, who is a Waste Management specialist, based in Edmonton.

The Role
The Recruitment/ Account Manager will support service delivery across our client’s facility based in Edmonton. You will support the smooth running of the facilities by managing staff rotas, sickness, and holidays.
The Account Manager will recruit new flexible workers and manage a pool of candidates to ensure the plant is fully staffed at all times. You will ensure internal and external customer satisfaction and uphold the Company’s reputation for excellent service and compliance.
Shift Pattern:
4 days on 4 days off: Rotating: 8am – 8pm or 10am to 10pm
Due to location, own transport is required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll:
o Process payroll for employees, including calculating salaries, deductions, and benefits.
o Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries and benefits.
o Maintain payroll records and reports.
2. RTW Checks:
o Conduct right-to-work checks for new employees.
o Verify employee documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
o Maintain records of RTW checks.
3. Recruitment:
o Placing adverts, shortlisting, prescreening candidates.
o Maintaining a pool of available workers.
4. Inductions:
o Coordinate and conduct inductions for new employees.
o Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed.
o Provide new employees with necessary information and support.
5. PPE Ordering and Storing:
o Order and store personal protective equipment (PPE) for employees.
o Maintain accurate records of PPE stock levels and orders.
o Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
6. Compliance Checks:
o Conduct regular compliance checks to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
o Identify and address any compliance issues or concerns.
o Maintain records of compliance checks.
7. General Filing:
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems for employee records and other documents.
o Ensure all documents are stored securely and in accordance with relevant regulations.
o Provide support with general administrative tasks as required.

Skills & Experience Required:
* Working knowledge of Health & Safety at work.
* Understanding of waste and recycling collection operations is an advantage.
* Must demonstrate problem-solving skills.
* Excellent level of English, both spoken and written is essential.
* Ability to speak Romanian advantageous.
* Very good level of numeracy.
* Ability to multitask under pressure.
* Flexible, adaptable approach is essential.
* Holding a valid and clean driving license with own car.
