Are you a Buyer looking for a new role? We are recruiting a Technical Buyer for our client in Aberdeen. This is a permanent position with a well-established company for 37.5 hours per week. Role Responsibilities: Assist in the implementation of the new ERP system from a purchasing perspective, ensuring all documentation is collected and securely stored. Ensure manufacturers and suppliers complete all required fields in the ERP system, and cleanse purchasing data (including open/aged purchase orders and requisitions). Prepare stock check files for spare parts and maintain accurate catalogs of components essential for maintenance and procurement. Regularly update the project planner, report progress to the Supply Chain Manager, and communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to gather necessary data. Perform any other related tasks as assigned. Qualifications: Previous experience in a technical or procurement role, ideally within the Marine, Oil & Gas, or Engineering industries. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with ERP procurement modules. Ideal Candidate Traits: Strong organisational abilities. Professional and mature approach to work.
