About the Role
This multi-academy trust comprises around 10 schools and is seeking to appoint an IT Technician/IT Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The trust includes both primary and secondary schools, each with unique IT needs, and is experiencing significant growth due to its ongoing success and high performance.
Your Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of IT, you will:
* Provide high-level IT support to pupils and staff across schools and the wider trust.
* Support hardware and software installations and updates.
* Respond to hardware build requests and support tickets efficiently.
* Collaborate with Network Managers and senior IT staff on IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades and new system implementations.
Candidate Requirements
Successful candidates will have:
* Proven experience in providing reactive, hands-on IT support, including face-to-face support for hardware and software issues.
* Experience in the education sector is advantageous.
* A passion for IT and a desire to develop skills and knowledge further.
