Civil/Groundwork Support Engineer Totalkare is experiencing rapid growth, presenting an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Hand to join our installation team for in-ground workshop equipment. As a member of our installation team, you will play a crucial role in the installation of various workshop equipment, from brake tester tub installations to vehicle inspection pits. This role involves nationwide travel, requiring flexibility and the ability to stay away from home regularly. You will be provided with a company vehicle, fuel cards, accommodation, and subsistence, ensuring your comfort and safety while away on the job. You will be responsible for both yourself and the construction operative within the team, to deliver the task on time and self-managing any issues that may arise during the course of the task at hand. You will be required but not limited to: Excavating trenches for equipment installations. Installing framework and underground ducting. Pouring and finishing concrete. Assisting in the installation of equipment for commissioning engineers. For this role you will have Solid understanding of construction processes and a commitment to health and safety. Excellent customer service skills for client-facing interactions. Strong self-management abilities, including timekeeping and problem-solving. Ability to delegate and manager team members to a high standard. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Valid driver's license is essential. Experience Desired but not essential: Certification and experience operating front-facing dumpers and 360 excavators. Training and certification will be provided for the right candidate. Demonstrated ability to use initiative and maintain high working standards. Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality standards.
