As a Team Leader, you will:
1. Empower Lives: Work closely with individuals, helping them develop the skills, confidence, and knowledge to achieve their personal goals.
2. Lead a Team: Supervise and coordinate a dedicated group of enablers, 1:1 personal assistants, and volunteers to deliver high-quality services.
3. Foster Growth: Support staff development, encourage innovation, and facilitate learning opportunities.
4. Promote Excellence: Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies, legal requirements, and quality standards like CQC and MATRIX.
5. Support Development: Collaborate with the manager to enhance Active Torbay's services and occasionally step up as Personalisation Manager.
Your key responsibilities will be:
1. Provide leadership and guidance for the team.
2. Drive innovation and implement change within the service.
3. Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, colleagues, and external organisations.
4. Manage resources efficiently and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
5. Achieve measurable results, ensuring customer satisfaction and continuous service improvement.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Experience in care, health, or allied professions.
2. Supervisory or management experience.
3. Knowledge of safeguarding, equality, and relevant legislation.
4. Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills.
5. Commitment to promoting inclusion and valuing diversity.
Desirable skills:
1. NVQ 2/3 in Care or equivalent qualifications.
2. Experience with learning program development and quality systems management.
3. Understanding of funding systems and local/national priorities.
