Boo. is recruiting! We are looking to recruit a Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day restaurant operations, and for someone who can bring expertise, enthusiasm and a real drive for excellence to our restaurant.
We serve perfect hand-crafted burgers using the finest British and Irish beef, alongside freshly prepared sides and creamy ice-cream shakes! All of our food is freshly prepared in-house every day, the various cuts of Angus beef are ground in-store daily and our soft buns are baked fresh and delivered from a local family bakery. We’re passionate about quality and service, and this should be the outstanding attribute of all of our employees.
You must be confident to be left to run the restaurant without being micromanaged, and to build a team that can support you in the successful and efficient running of the restaurant. The ideal candidate will be required to be hands-on and not afraid to undertake any of the tasks required from our junior staff members, if and when required.
Store Restaurant Manager Details:
The main focus on your role will be to support the business in all aspects of store operations to ensure the delivery of the Boo brand against our values and commercial targets.
You will be expected to demonstrate hard work within a fun environment where passion for excellence, hard work, honesty and determination are the norm.
You will help recruit and shape the dynamic team we hope to create, and work alongside them serving perfect food whilst maintaining exceptionally high cleanliness standards.
You will represent the restaurant with inspiring leadership, passion, energy and knowledge, ensuring every customer has a great experience and our ‘community’ ethos is well executed.
The Store Manager will also ensure all company policies and procedures are enforced, including HR, allergens, food safety and more.
Build a World Class Team:
* Recruitment, planning, and training and development.
* Support your team by motivating, coaching (including performance reviews), engaging and managing your team to drive their performance.
* Plan weekly rotas, shifts, breaks and holiday planning.

Provide First Class Standards:
* Responsible for food quality and consistency.
* Ensure all staff are in our uniform standards.
* Consistently deliver excellent standards and use all tools provided.
* All food products should be correctly labelled, in date and displayed correctly.
* Keep your store clean at all times through use of the Operations Log.
* Ensure all members of your team follow Health and Safety, COSHH and Food Hygiene regulations at all times.
* Ensure that the team are aware of our emergency procedures and fire training/evacuation points.
* Ensure daily HACCP procedures are completed, checked and recorded.
* Deal with maintenance issues promptly when you are responsible for the store and report any critical, brand damaging, pest or Health & Safety issues immediately.
* Inform your Area Manager immediately of an EHO visit and support them with any information they require.
* Use every opportunity to ensure a great customer experience.
* Coach and correct on shift where any standard is not being delivered to our brand expectations.
Manage the Business Costs:
* Grow customer numbers and deliver the key financial targets to budget.
* Managing KPIs such as order volume, preparation times, maintaining excellent ratings.
* Ensure that your store’s paperwork is to standard and completed accurately.
* Minimise wastage without affecting availability. Ensure all stock is correctly controlled, stored and rotated.
* Use the store rotas to ensure “the right people in the right place at the right time”.
* Ensure correct cashing up procedures are followed at all times.
* Stock taking and ordering, and stock delivery management.
* Report immediately any security or cash issues to your manager and area manager.
* Utilise key reports and business data to help drive profitable sales.
* Compiling reports for your area manager / directors.
