Job Description We are seeking an experienced Payroll and Pension professional to join our dynamic and fast-paced team in Milton Keynes. This role is ideal for someone with prior payroll and pension experience looking to grow within a large organisation offering excellent opportunities for development. Key Responsibilities: Accurately input data, including starters, leavers, changes of details, attachment of earnings, and timesheets. Accurately calculate employee debts and update the debt recovery record with relevant details. Maintain a daily checking folder with all documentation to allow for easy review of your work. Reconcile and Upload Monthly Pension Returns to Nest, Aviva and Aegon. Peer Check work for accuracy. Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Review payroll exception reports and make necessary corrections. Manage filing, review incoming mail, and take appropriate action when required. Address general payroll and pension inquiries via phone, email, Jira, and/or letter in a professional and timely manner. Learn the overpayment process and assist in identifying overpayments. Accurately input variable payroll data in accordance with the monthly payroll timetable. Ensure any Faster Payments are dealt with in a timely fashion and set up for checking. Stay up-to-date with any changes in payroll processes. Upload monthly P46 (car) information into ResourceLink, as needed. Experience with Resource Link and/or WorkDay. Experience with Aegon, NEST, Aviva Pension Schemes. Be able to prepare manual calculations. Proactive, customer-focused mindset. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word (Intermediate level). Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Enthusiastic, driven, and dedicated to achieving excellence. High numerical accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and adjust priorities to meet deadlines.
