A friendly and supportive working environment The Role As a Hydraulic Fitter/Test Engineer, you will play a key role in assembling, testing, and maintaining hydraulic power units and manifold assemblies. You will also be responsible for setting up and conducting tests using hydraulic test rigs, ensuring all equipment meets required performance standards. Key Responsibilities Assemble and test hydraulic power units and manifold assemblies. Set up and conduct tests on hydraulic test rigs, using instruments such as pressure gauges and flow meters. Record and analyse test results, producing detailed maintenance and service reports. Assemble small electrical boxes (experience with electro-hydraulics is advantageous). Maintain high standards of workshop organisation and housekeeping. What We're Looking For Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. A proactive and organised approach to work. Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a busy environment. Engineering background (preferred but not essential). Forklift licence and full UK driving licence (desirable but not required). Hardworking, reliable, and flexible, with a strong eye for detail.
