Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior team members with all aspects of Large and Complex Loss Claims.
- Review records and prepare detailed notes on key issues.
- Collate and organise disclosure documents.
- Prepare bundles for expert and Counsel instruction.
- Instruct and liaise with experts and Counsel.
- Arrange and attend conferences with the fee earner.
- Diarise Court dates and directions.
- Liaise with witnesses and research legal issues.
- Assist with client MI/SLA requirements.
Skills and Experience Required:
- At least 1 year of experience in civil litigation, preferably with a PI background.
- Working knowledge of CPR/Pre-Action Protocol.
- Some knowledge of insurance is advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Familiarity with medical records is beneficial.
- Previous experience with hourly rate charging is preferable but not essential.
