We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, forward-thinking, and enthusiastic Band 7 Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join our Outpatient Service at the West Hertfordshire Therapy Unit, located at Jacketts Field, Abbots Langley.
We are looking for an experienced Pelvic Health Physiotherapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be keen to work full-time within our core service hours from Monday to Friday.
This role offers the chance to clinically lead and work within a highly respected outpatient physiotherapy team, managing a diverse range of pelvic health presentations.
You will benefit from peer support from our established Band 7 team, with operational leadership provided by a Band 8 Therapy Team Lead.

The post holder will be working in a busy, friendly outpatient department seeing GP, Consultants and Enhanced Community Gynaecology Service referrals, undertaking assessment and treatment face to face, but also virtually as/when appropriate (1:1 and group).
Typical caseload may include patients presenting with urinary incontinence, over active bladder, faecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, post natal perineal injuries, pelvic pain, sexual health, and pelvic floor dysfunction.
With a new hospital planned for Watford and work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital, this is an exciting time to join us.

To take a lead role in providing physiotherapy care (specialist assessment and treatment), in the Outpatient Pelvic Health Physiotherapy setting.
To act as a specialist resource for physiotherapy staff and other health care professionals.
To undertake/lead evidence based QI, audit and research projects to develop and enhance personal and team’s clinical practice - making recommendations to fellow clinical lead/Therapy Team Lead for changes to practice by the pelvic health team.
To assist in the development, implementation, evaluation of service protocols.
To plan, co-ordinate and evaluate the Outpatient Pelvic Health Physiotherapy service in conjunction with the Acute Therapy Service Manager and Therapy Team Lead.
To supervise, educate and assess physiotherapy students.
To lead on the probation, supervision, appraisal, and training of more junior physiotherapy staff (including rotational) within the clinical team.
To participate in an extended hours and 7 day working pattern, if ever implemented, at a future date.
