GSL Education is seeking a Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to work school in Lincoln.
Job Summary: A Level 2 Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant in a school plays a crucial role in supporting students with additional needs to ensure they can access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the learning and development of students with special educational needs.
* Work closely with the class teacher to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
* Assist in the preparation and adaptation of learning materials.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
* Monitor and record students' progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
* Provide personal care and support where necessary.
Requirements:
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
* Experience working with children with special educational needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students.
