Caretaking and Cleaning Services are seeking to appoint an organised, enthusiastic and highly motivated Caretaker, you will be based at St Andrew's C of E Primary School, Nuttall Lane, Bury BL0 9JD
You will need to be organised, reliable and with an eye for detail. Be ready to establish and maintain a high standard of cleaning.
You will also need to have the ambition to improve the school by performing your duties especially with your DIY skills

The Role
The role will mainly consist of opening/closing school, including gates at specific times of the day. Supervising/managing the cleaners and making sure a good standard of clean is being kept. Cleaning a given area every day to a good standard. Performing any jobs that pop up during the day as requested by the school. DIY jobs as required. Any porterage as and when required. Deep cleaning school when not on holiday in conjunction with cleaners.
The salary for this post will be Grade 6, £21,780 approximately per annum.
This post is permanent, all year round, 32 hours per week.
Holidays can ONLY be taken when school is off (outside term-time) spread across the year
Work Pattern: Split shift 6:00am 9:00am and 2:30pm 6:00pm Monday to Thursday, and 6:00am 9:00am and 3:00pm 6:00pm on a Friday. This could be changed according to school requirements
You must be physically capable of undertaking the duties required. Relevant experience is an advantage although not essential as training will be provided.
