6+ Month contract
Up to £675 p/d
5 Hours p/w
Mostly remote with 2 days per month client site visit
Role subject to security clearance checks - discussed upon application
The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Human Factors Engineer, to join a well-established design & infrastructure consultancy, that work on managing some of the UK's biggest Energy & Defence projects, as well as global.
What do you need to succeed?
Proven experience in applying HF within an engineering context
Experience supporting nuclear safety case development and a good understanding of the nuclear safety case process.
Strong knowledge in human reliability assessment
Additional required skill include:
Human error identification
Qualitative/quantitative error analysis.
Substantiation of operator safety claims.
Experience supporting nuclear safety case development/review (ideally 3+ years) with a good understanding of the nuclear safety case process.
Ability to deliver HF assessment with minimal supervision.
Able to work as part of a HF and safety case delivery team.
Qualifications:
Relevant qualification in Human Factors, ideally a related degree.
Chartered membership of CIEHF is desirable.
