Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for a Regional Technical Director to join an established Data Centre account supporting multiple sites across EMEA. Successful candidates will have a proven track record in mechanical and electrical maintenance engineering and excellent interpersonal skills. You will be electrically qualified with a proven track record of operating in Data Centre Environments. Key Responsibilities -Own and lead the delivery of technical and engineering standards across the account. -Provide expert technical guidance to account management team and the client as appropriate. -Ensure that critical facilities within the Data Centre are operating to defined high standards. -Act as Senior Authorised Person for HV. -In the event of incidents, undertake root cause analysis / post problem review and liaise closely with client and CBRE technical experts. -Be responsible for ensuring a competent work force is in place and that training, scenario / best drill training takes place. -Ensure technical staff are fully competent and trained to necessary standards to ensure quality and compliant delivery. -Ensure that Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are reviewed and in place. -Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are developed and available for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices. -Ensure that processes for managing subcontractors are in place and are appropriately supervised and comply with site operating procedures. -Act as client interface to ensure customer satisfaction and understanding of technical systems and processes. -Ensure that planned maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment and systems to meet and exceed expectations. -To ensure timely planning & delivery of plant & System shutdowns and other long term contractually committed works to meet contract programmes. -Ensure all reactive repairs are undertaken safely and within appropriate time scales · Liaise, audit and manage our sub-contractors including pricing and quoting of small works -Ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work process and systems. -Ensure that maintenance records are kept in line with CBRE and client requirements. -Support the Account Managers to ensure the site is statutory compliant and records align to CBRE's Quality Management System. -Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment and ensure compliance with all company and customer policies. -Ensure that comprehensive maintenance records are kept. -Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required YOUR PROFILE To successfully deliver the above tasks you must have 10 years-experience working in a critical or data centre environment. You must possess a deep technical knowledge and be willing to learn new skills. You will have experience in working with senior clients and leading and setting high standards of work. You must have IT skills corresponding to user level with experience in MS Office and good general IT skills since there are many systems you need to navigate. Additionally, you must be able to speak and write English at a technical/user level.
