Job summary
The Quality Engineer assists the Regional Quality Manager and performs technical quality assurance activities. They strive to support all customers, both internal and external to the company, in their never-ending quest to improve quality.
Responsibilities:
Assistance and Teamwork 30%
* Assist the Branch team in processing and resolving customer concerns, as required.
* Provide the organization with technical support.
* Understand and apply appropriate quality assurance and improvement processes.
* Continuously upgrade skills and knowledge to improve personal effectiveness and provide training and guidance to less experienced/skilled personnel.
* Recognize and evaluate the impact on others when making any decision.
Customer and Company Support 40%
1. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities which includes creating customer sample submissions, i.e., PPAP, FAI, ISIR, etc.
2. Provides testing and inspection support to Ireland branches.
3. Record technical information, dimensional, mechanicals and performance testing.
4. Effectively communicating with customers, suppliers, and employees of Supply Technologies, as required.
5. Customer concern technical support for key accounts.
6. Issue Corrective Action requests and 8D documents to vendors. Review and close out, as required.
