Job Title: Office Manager
Salary: Up to £28,000
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Location: Longton, Staffordshire
Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee and coordinate office operations. This is an independent role, giving you the opportunity to make a lasting impact and shape the office environment to your vision. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include processing invoices, managing quotes, and providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process incoming and outgoing invoices in a timely and accurate manner
* Ensure all invoices are properly coded, authorised, and recorded
* Prepare and send quotes to clients based on pricing structures and customer needs
* Follow up with clients regarding quotes to ensure timely responses
* Maintain office supplies and manage relationships with customers
* Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and assist with other clerical duties as needed
* Act as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent service
* Resolve administrative issues and respond to customer inquiries
* Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Assist with budget tracking and expense reporting
About you:
* Familiarity with financial processes and bookkeeping
* A passion for creating a productive working environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
* Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
* Excellent verbal and written communication
