You will provide proactive support to the day-to-day contract management of a broad portfolio of Estates & Facilities contracts, and ultimately deliver the division strategy. You will play a key role in maintaining effective relationships with contractors providing services to the Trust.
Supporting in the coordination of contract planning, negotiations, management, and reviews as well as ensuring efficient processes of monitoring are in place.

Main duties of the job
* Assist the Senior Contracts & Performance Manager in effectively managing designated contracts within the division.
* Support and advise Senior Contracts & Performance Manager and Commercial Manager with contracts negotiations, discussions and implementation involving where appropriate other managers within the division.
* Assist in the coordination of the Trust's cost improvement programme, preparing appropriate reports as required and ensuring all meetings and actions are logged.
* Support the Head of Commercial and Senior Contracts & Performance Manager with any commercial issues or projects that may arise, and support/cover the Commercial and Property Officer in any related duties in instances of absence or leave.
* Provide administrative support to the drafting of documents to support the Senior Contracts & Performance Manager or other relevant members of the department.
* Support the implementation of project and service initiatives through timely and relevant information analysis and administrative support, in accordance with the agreed priorities of the Senior Contracts & Performance Manager.
* Oversee and participate in monitoring the performance of internal and external contracts. Ensure contractors/departments are complying with the service specifications in line with quality, quantity and cost and initiate measures to ensure compliance.

* Good standard of general education to bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* HNC/HND or equivalent qualification and/or experience in relevant field

* Contract Capability Management Programme Foundation Level, or similar contracts management / commercial qualification
Previous Experience

* Relevant experience of working within an estates/facilities role or equivalent role

* Evidence of managing own workload.
