Role Description
We have an opportunity for a target-driven and enthusiastic individual to become a vital part of Travel Counsellors’ commercial team. We’re looking for passionate people who are excited about travel, with the ability to think independently, be creative, and contribute to a supportive team in a fast-paced working environment.
The role of Commercial Executive will support the account managers in the procurement and promotion of our commercial suppliers, including the day-to-day upkeep of our administrative systems, as well as assisting with the marketing and training to our network of 2,000 global independent travel agents.
Principle Accountabilities
* Using Travel Counsellors’ in-house digital platforms to communicate offers, product news and training to our network of over 2,000 independent travel agents.
* Building and maintaining offers and tailormade itineraries for our library of TC Journeys.
* Conducting rate comparisons to ensure product is competitive against other wholesalers.
* Supporting promotion of product within consumer marketing.
* Supporting new supplier onboarding process including requesting credit references and completing credit applications
* Internal maintenance of commercial contract information within our back office, intranet and hubs environments.
* Liaising with the Content team to ensure hotel content is accurate and up to date.
* Logging of proposals containing partnership and marketing activity.
* Completing requests for invoices to be raised and support in debt management when required.
* Assisting with internal support queries, offering general support to the product sales support team on product and partner enquiries.
* Support Destination Managers in contracting, negotiating offers, marketing and override contributions.
* Support contract loading questions.
* Collect appropriate content to the destination.
* Attending supplier meetings and calls with Account Managers, where relevant.
