Working hours: 37 Hours (7.24 Monday – Friday) Contract Type: Permanent/Full Time Location: Ty Penallta This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Financial Services Team. We pay an attractive salary of £45,718 - £48,710 and offer access to training and development opportunities. We are seeking to recruit a Group Accountant to join a busy Housing Finance team. This is a new role and will require an innovative and capable person to assist the Finance Manager to deliver effective and efficient financial services to the Housing Department. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to be part of maintaining strong inter relationship links across Housing and Finance, and be involved in future proofing effective financial support. For the role, we ask that you have: An Accountancy qualification or equivalent. For example Level 6 (Degree) Accountancy. An understanding of the legislative requirements and accounting codes of practice for operating a Housing Revenue Account (HRA). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to communicate and present effectively at all levels, both written and verbal. Experience of staff management.
