This position will coordinate Council's Fire Safety Program to ensure compliance with legislative requirements. Essential Criteria Tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying or relevant field. Registered with NSW Fair Trading as a Building Surveyor - Unrestricted (previously A1). Demonstrated experience with Building Codes of Australia, Australian Standards relating to essential services and Fire Safety Regulations. Demonstrated experience in coordinating projects, relating to buildings assets, essential services, fire safety and BCA compliance. Demonstrated experience in managing contractors to ensure the safe and effective delivery of services. Demonstrated ability to run stakeholder engagement activities, including meetings or forums. Current Class C driver license. Salary: A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with the skills, qualifications and experience of the preferred applicant.
