SEN TA/ Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant
Pay: £15,475-£17,638 per annum

Bookmark are currently recruiting for an experienced teaching assistant who can work effectively on a 1:1 basis and in small groups with students in Mansfield. The role will involve teaching pupils with SEN including ADHD and Autism or Social Emotional and Mental Health needs such as anxiety and depression.
The role is available on a full-time and permanent basis immediately or on long term supply. Previous relevant experience working with children with SEN is required and, due to the nature of the role, you must have access to your own vehicle for transport between local sites.
Responsibilities:
• Effectively manage behaviour and promote positive behaviour traits.
• Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils to provide targeted support.
• Provide stimulating and engaging activities.
• To work in line with Learning Managers to track progress and report back.
Requirements:
• Previous experience working as a TA/Teaching Assistant or LSA/Learning Support Assistant within a school or similar relevant experience working with children.
• Kind and caring persona, willing to be hands on and proactive.
• Experience working with SEN/Special Educational Needs.
• Either have a DBS check already or be willing to submit a DBS application.
• Driver’s licence, and access to your own vehicle.
