1. Position: Stores Operative
2. Salary: £24,000 – £26,000 per annum plus very good company benefits
3. Location: East Grinstead, West Sussex
4. Hours: Monday-Friday only, 39 hours per week. 08:00 -17:00 Monday – Thursday with an early finish (half day) on a Friday
5. Role based in East Grinstead.
We are delighted to be assisting our friendly, established and highly reputable client as they seek to recruit an additional Stores Operative to join their experienced and friendly team within their East Grinstead site. This role is available due to strong company growth levels and expansion.
This role is working as part of the Supply Chain team to ensure accurate receipt of parts to the warehouse, safe and accurate storage of parts and timely and accurate picking of stock.
Duties will include:
6. Booking goods in from suppliers, checking documentation and receiving goods onto the system
7. Ensuring correct storage of parts within store
8. Picking and issuing of stock to production and service teams via mobile devices
9. Picking and packing of customer orders.
10. Shipment of small orders.
11. Performing cycle counts and stock counts
12. Compliance with all internal quality and Health and Safety procedures.
Experience, competencies and knowledge required
13. PC literate
14. A good general level of education with GCSE / O Level passes in English and Maths.
15. Highly motivated, pro-active and able to work unsupervised.
16. Organised approach with high levels of attention to detail
17. Strong time management and prioritisation capabilities
