Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting a buddy lead/service manager for a client of ours based in Lowdham. The purpose of this role is to manage a team and to co-ordinate the training, supervision and management of the Buddy Support Worker programme.\n Location: Lowdham\n Contract type: Permanent\n Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week\n Salary: £30,283 per annum\n Main duties and responsibilities\n\nSupport direct reports in developing a positive culture.\nSet a clear vision, based on business and development plans \nCommunicate business and contract imperatives appropriately and in a timely way. \nBuilds and maintains a dynamic, stretching and energised Team \nEnsure positive health and wellbeing.
\nProvide person-centred activities that reflect individual rights and preferences. \nMaintain meticulous records and share data responsibly. \nEngage with the wider team, other prison departments and external stakeholders.
\nPromote a positive work ethic and team culture. \nParticipate in relevant meetings and continuous professional development. \nContribute to innovative service development.
\nAdvocate for service growth and business development. \nProvide regular progress reports and maintain knowledge of relevant policies. \nCollect monitoring information and deliver reports.
\nAdhere to safety and risk requirements. \nEnsure safeguarding responsibilities are met. \n Person Specification\n\nEducated to at least "A" level, DipSW, or NVQ level 3.
\nTeaching or training qualifications (or willing to work towards). \nAbility to build effective relationships. \nExperience of working with older people, people in Criminal justice, or social care settings.
\nExperience of delivering services for older people. \nExperience writing reports, letters, and other correspondence. \nHigh level of IT literacy and a willingness to learn and use prison and Recoop IT systems.
\nStrong motivational skills. \nWorking with people with basic skills. \nKnowledge of the voluntary sector.
