Classeq are an independent company with the manufacturing headquarters based in Stafford and are part of a global family-owned business. In 2017 we moved to our new production facility close to Stafford Town Centre (Beacon Business Park). Classeq’s core business is the manufacture and distribution of glass and dishwashers for pubs, clubs, hotels and the general hospitality industry. In addition to the manufactured products, we sell supporting products and services such accessories, service contracts and spare parts. Due to continued success and expansion of our product range we are looking to recruit Test Operative. Responsible for pretest, test, post-test drain down, final assembly. Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor. Our test area is equipped with semi-automatic wet test beds, with in house variant specific test software procedures. You must be able to demonstrate an aptitude for problem solving with an eye for detail. This is critical to the role and will be reviewed on a regular basis during training. The successful applicant will be given training on the operation and test processes with our Research and Development department. Working alongside the Quality and R&D departments you will be responsible for the accurate recording of faults for daily analysis to improve first time pass rates. Preparing specific documentation and completing test records accurately. We are looking for an individual who is willing to be part of our very successful team, willing to work hard and to learn new skills to allow us to meet the increasing demands for our products. The successful applicant will show interest in engineering, problem solving and fault diagnosis. This is a full-time position, hours are 07:00 to 15:45 Monday to Friday with a 15-minute break in the morning and 30-minute lunch break.
